We are just back from Europe and I wanted to let you know that we so much enjoyed our week in Tuscany - the villa and Francesca were excellent - they exceeded our expectations! We also had an amazing day tour in Florence with Elena - she was the most wonderful - so much fun. We miss Italy greatly!

We have spent almost 10 days in IL Rosetto. House is very comfortable with mixed modern and old-stylish design, spacious and comfortable. The most important is beatiful garden where you can come stright from the kitchen. It's a perfect place to eat braakfast, have morning coffe or afternoon drink or just chill at the evening. The neighberhood is very quiet and friendly. It's a perfect place to rest away from crowded and nosiy turist resort. The house is located in a small and lazy village Aurisina and only 10 min. walk from great pizzeria PAM PAM. In surrounding you can find a lots of Osmicas (marked by olives wisps) where you can eat Prosciutto di Parma, salami, local cheese, olives and drink red or white wine among olive's trees. The coast is about 10 min driving by car. Between Trieste and Sistiana are plenty of small beaches. Each is different and has own climate but all are perfect for snorkeling as water is as clean that you can see in a few meters deep.

I highly recommend this to anyone who would like to rest and chill in beautiful neighborhood, away from crowded and noisy resort; feel the lazy atmosphere of small Italian villages, try local vines and food!

What a wonderful set-up we had for ourselves, daughter, husband and 3 boys aged 10,5 and 3! It was everything we had hoped for and envisioned when talking about a week with a "villa in Tuscany"--including the weather. The property was very well maintained; private; furnishings and amenities added to the peacefulness and relaxation. Day trips galore included Siena, Pisa,Lucca, Florence, San Gimignano and Montalcino. Idyllic to have adults toasting and sipping wine after a busy day while the kids enjoyed the cool(in more than one way!) pool and playing ball. A grocery store and two very nice restaurants are within a 10 minute drive. Francesca and Alessandro outdid themselves with an unforgettable farewell multi course dinner (and 3rd birthday!)-- including wine and Lemoncello- for us on the patio, complete with a gorgeous sunset over the rolling hills! What more could you ask for?????

Hi Erica!
We just returned home from our lovely road trip. I wanted to thank you for finding Sassicaia for us. It was the perfect place to stay. More importantly, Alina and Luccia were the best hosts that anyone could ask for. I highly recommend their apartments, and their cooking classes. They are wonderful souls and really made Italy stand out…simply because of who they are. Their farm is simply beautiful. A peaceful sanctuary.

When there was an unexpected difficulty at the place we planned to stay at, we contacted Erica, who genuinely cared about our trip, and that's what made the difference between an okay stay in Tuscany and an unforgettable one. We would like to thank you so much for providing the wonderful itineraries. We followed 3 of the "trips" and had a truly fabulous time both driving thru the Tuscan hills and visiting uncrowded sites. And we didn't get lost even once!

We are definitely slow travelers to Italy and share your love of the beautiful sights and peaceful tranquility Tuscany has to offer.

We especially appreciated Casole d'Elsa because they made it so easy to navigate the wheelchair up to the hilltop by providing elevators. That was an unexpected treat!

We also again want to thank you and Francesca for helping us navigate our way to Siena--we followed the instructions and for the first time we didn't get lost! We even went back there one more time before leaving Italy!

We would be remiss also If we didn't offer thanks for the wonderful restaurant suggestions. We ate in a bunch of them and found all to be wonderful!

Our two weeks in Tuscany were everything we hoped for and more, and we will be sure to recommend you to any of our friends who are thinking of a Tuscan holiday. Thank you so much.

Thanks to Erica our month-long house party celebrating our 25th anniversary was nearly perfect. Because one of us is in a wheelchair, we had a lot of extra demands, and Erica was absolutely wonderful all the way through, from our initial contact with her until the day we arrived at the house and she and her partner came in to fix the toilet for us! She spent an amazing amount of time with us, both on the telephone and in person, trying to understand what we wanted and needed and helping us to find the best house. She also translated for the landlords the accessibility modifications we wanted made to the house, and everything was exactly as we had requested when we arrived.

We highly recommend Erica, and we are looking forward to exploring some of her other, smaller properties for holidays in the future.

Thank you so very much for referring Dario. He's a gem, and we've already signed up for a Palio tour with him, to celebrate a friend's 50th birthday in three years. (Her birthday is August 16, so she's decided that the Palio is the ONLY way to celebrate!)
